Chapter 2 of the pandemic novel I worked on. This weekend you’ll get the week I missed as we first found out my house had caught COVID. Everyone is doing well (J’s symptoms have cleared up and mom’s symptoms were never symptoms apparently she just needed more sleep). I have a sinus infection and am having issues getting an appointment to get antibiotics – but I can understand that, basically because of the risk of a false negative no one wants to see me in person. My primary care physician retired in September and I’ve never met the person that took over for him, so she doesn’t want to prescribe me antibiotics without at least meeting me in person once. But I could be a risk to bring into the office. So, they are trying to get an appointment with an urgent care facility, but they’ve been swamped lately and a video appointment has been tricky as a result. On to better things: Chapter 2 of the Pandemic Novel I started in March.
